This is a long hold traditional Indian style of yoga. The goal of Hatha yoga in Western practice is to strengthen the body and clear the mind through the pactice of physical postures or "asanas" and breathing techniques.  

Chair Yoga makes yoga practice accessible to all who cannot access floor yoga. It is a gentle form of adapted yoga that is practiced in a chair or using a chair for support. 

 

Gentle Yoga practice focuses on slow stretches, flexibility and deep breathing. It uses a combination of Restorative, Yin and Yoga Nidra techniques.

A yoga practice with the goal of physical, mental and emotional relaxation. Restorative yoga uses props and long hold times to activate the parasympathetic nervous system thus resting the nervous system and relaxing the muscles. In this way, restorative yoga hopes to rid the body of illness, injury and depression.
